| Description | (1R,4S,7R,11R,12S)-3,3,7,11-tetramethyl-2-oxatricyclo[5.4.1.0⁴,¹²]Dodecane belongs to the class of organic compounds known as germacrane sesquiterpenoids. These are sesquiterpenoids having the germacrane skeleton, with a structure characterized by a cyclodecane ring substituted with an isopropyl and two methyl groups. (+)-6,11-epoxy-isodaucane is found in Tritomaria polita. (+)-6,11-epoxy-isodaucane was first documented in 2003 (Adio, A. M., et al.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,4S,7R,11R,12S)-3,3,7,11-tetramethyl-2-oxatricyclo[5.4.1.0⁴,¹²]Dodecane. |
